§ 23-24.5-16. Delegation of authority.

Except for the provisions of this chapter relating to rule making, penalties, standards, and appeals, the director may after filing notice with the secretary of state delegate to another state agency any of the chapter's administrative duties, including, but not limited to, inspection, testing, and building permit responsibilities, if the director finds that the delegation would provide for a more effective and efficient administration of the provisions of this chapter. Notwithstanding any other law, pursuant to this delegation the director may allocate money appropriated to the department of health
