§ 23-24.3-6. Civil penalties.
Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter, or of any rule, regulation,
            or order issued pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty to be
            assessed by the court or the director not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1000).
            In the case of a continuing violation, each day's continuance shall constitute a separate
            and distinct offense.
