§ 23-24.2-11. Investigations.

(a) The consumer protection unit of the department of attorney general shall conduct a continuing study and investigation of the deaths, injuries, and economic losses resulting from the accidental burning of products, fabrics, or related materials. The consumer protection unit of the department of attorney general shall submit annually a report to the governor and to the general assembly the results of the study and investigation.

(b) In cooperation with appropriate public and private agencies, the consumer protection unit of the department of attorney general is authorized to:
