§ 23-23.5-9. Liability of city or town for suspension or withdrawal of right.
In case of suspension or withdrawal by any city or town council of the right to slaughter
            cattle or other animals, the city or town shall be liable to the person to whom the
            right has been granted for any loss or damage resulting from the suspension or withdrawal,
            to be recovered by action of the case.
