§ 23-22-12. Penalty for violations.
Any person, other than a city or town, whether as principal, agent, employer, or employee,
            who violates any of the provisions of this chapter, or any of the rules and regulations
            made by the department of health pursuant to this chapter, shall be punished by a
            fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense, and each day that any
            violation occurs shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
