§ 23-19.2-7. Ordinances for abatement of nuisances.
The city or town councils of the several cities and towns may pass any ordinances,
            not inconsistent with chapter 1 of title 10, as they may deem most effectual for the prevention, suppression, or abatement of
            any nuisance as is described in §§ 11-30-1 or 11-30-2, or the councils may remove or cause to be removed the nuisance, in the manner provided
            by law for the removal of other nuisances.
