§ 23-19-13.4. Host community assessment committee — Definition — Funding — Powers and duties.
(a) All applicants shall within seven (7) days from the date of the filing for a solid waste disposal license, notify the chief elected official or the chief executive officer of the municipality in which the facility is proposed to be sited of the filing for a solid waste disposal license. Within thirty (30) days of the date of the notice, the municipality may submit to the director a request for an amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for the establishment of a local host community assessment committee which shall negotiate
