§ 23-18.12-7. Demonstration projects.
With approval of the department, a distributor of beverage containers will have the
            opportunity to undertake recycling projects or other projects as necessary, to demonstrate
            a container's recyclability or enhanced recyclability. After a determination of noncompliance
            under § 23-18.12-4(a) the approval of the project by the department shall stay the time period for any
            action under § 23-18.12-4(b). Any project must meet criteria agreeable to both the distributor and the department
            and is open to monitoring by the department, its employees, agents, or consultants.
