§ 23-17.4-18. Restriction of public assistance payments.

No officer or agent of any municipal or state agency having responsibility for making payments of any form of public assistance under the provisions of applicable federal and state law shall make the payment to or on behalf of an individual residing in an assisted living residence for adults as defined in § 23-17.4-2, upon notification from the licensing agency, that the facility does not qualify for licensure pursuant to this chapter. The department of human services will notify the licensing agency on an annual basis of all addresses where two (2) or more supplemental security income recipie
