§ 23-17.2-3. Duties of the director.

The department of health shall enforce the provisions of this chapter and the director of the department shall design and issue a log or journal to be maintained by and in each nursing or personal care home which shall provide for the information required by this chapter. The director, or the director's agent or designee not regularly engaged in nursing or personal care home visitation shall examine, inspect, and certify the contents of the log or journal biannually.
