Text

(a)Before selection of arbitrator.--Before an arbitrator is selected and able to act, on motion of a party, the court may enter a temporary order under 23 Pa.C.S. (relating to domestic relations) and the applicable Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure.
(b)After selection of arbitrator.--After an arbitrator is selected:
(1)the arbitrator may make a temporary award under 23 Pa.C.S. and the applicable Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure; and
(2)if the matter is urgent and the arbitrator is not able to act in a timely manner or provide an adequate remedy, on motion of a party, the court may enter a temporary order.
