Text
(a)Establishment.--If the council determines that the power to equip, operate and maintain recreation places shall be exercised by a recreation board, the council may, by ordinance, establish in the borough a recreation board which shall possess those powers and duties as may be delegated to it by ordinance.
(b)Composition.--The board shall consist of a minimum of five and a maximum of nine persons. Two of the members may be members or appointees of the school board of the school district in which the borough is located. If the board consists of seven members, three of the members may be members or appointees of the school board. The borough members of the board shall be appointed by the council and shall serve terms not longer than five years. The terms of the members shall be staggere
