§ 15399a — Appropriations to institutions of higher learning or to nonprofit educational trusts

Pennsylvania·Title 16 COUNTIES·Part PART IV·Ch. 153 SPECIAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF COUNTIES·Subch. APPROPRIATIONS TO INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER

The county commissioners may appropriate county money in amounts as may be deemed necessary to any of the following institutions or trusts located within the county to assist the institution or trust in the financing of the functions specified by the county commissioners:

(1)Nonsectarian institutions of higher learning.
(2)A nonprofit educational trust created for the purpose of constructing or maintaining facilities for Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education universities and State-related universities, including The Pennsylvania State University, Lincoln University, Temple University and the University of Pittsburgh.
