(1)The boundary of Lane County is as follows:
(a)All that portion of Oregon lying south of Linn County, and south of so much of Benton County as is east of Umpqua County.
(b)The southern boundary of Lane County is as follows: Beginning at a point in the present boundary line between Lane and Klamath Counties on the summit of the Cascade Range, at a point due east of the southeast corner of township 24 south, range 5 east of the Willamette Meridian; thence west on the township line to the Willamette Meridian, at the southeast corner of township 24 south, range 1 west; thence north seven and one-half miles to the east one-quarter section corner of section 25, township 23 south, range 1 west of the Willamette Meridian; thence west on the one-half section line 18 miles to the west one-quart
