Text

Highway. The section of U.S. Highway 77 beginning on the east side of the James C. Nance Bridge extending through the town of Lexington to the intersection of Moffatt Road in Cleveland County shall be designated as the “Col. John L. Smith Medal of Honor Recipient Memorial Highway”. The Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
