items. The Oklahoma Arts Council may, at its discretion, contract with other state agencies and/or nonprofit organizations to create an irrevocable endowment with associated management and administration costs to trade, sell or barter donated and deaccessioned collection items that do not conform to collection policies of the Oklahoma Arts Council. In accordance with the code of ethics established by professional museum management associations, proceeds from the endowment shall be used only for the acquisition, conservation or care of collections that are owned and controlled by the Oklahoma Arts Council.
