Text

Agreements as to contents. The Confederate Soldiers' Room in the Oklahoma Historical Society is hereby set aside as a memorial to the soldiers and sailors and all who supported the side of the Confederacy in the Civil War, and a custodian is herein provided who shall be a Confederate Soldier, or the widow of a Confederate Soldier, or the descendant of a Confederate Soldier. And the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Historical Society are hereby authorized to enter into agreements with camps or agencies of the organizations of the Confederate Soldiers and Sailors and of their sons and daughters as to matters to be placed within said Room and for the permanent retention of the same therein.
