Text

The Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Historical Society may, at its discretion, contract with other state agencies and/or non- profit organizations to create an irrevocable endowment with associated management and administration costs to trade, sell or barter donated and deaccessioned collection items that do not conform to collection policies of the Oklahoma Historical Society. In accordance with the code of ethics established by professional museum management associations, proceeds from the endowment shall be used only for the acquisition, conservation or use of collections at museums, historic sites or research facilities owned and operated by the Oklahoma Historical Society.
