A court of this state may enter an order regarding custodial responsibility pursuant to the Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act only where the court has jurisdiction pursuant to the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA), Sections 551-101 through 551-402 of Title 43 of the Oklahoma Statutes. If a court of this state has rendered a temporary order regarding custodial responsibility pursuant to the Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act, the deploying parent shall be deemed to reside in this state for the purposes of the UCCJEA during the duration of the deployment.
