A.In applying and construing the Uniform Arbitration Act, consideration must be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that enact it.
B.In applying and construing the Uniform Arbitration Act, to the extent permitted by federal law, recognition shall be given to the following considerations as applicable: 1. Agreements to arbitrate are often included in standard forms prepared by one party and in a context where there is little or no ability to negotiate or change the terms of the agreement to arbitrate; and 2.
