No permit shall be issued under division (A) of section993.04of the Revised Code, until the owner of the amusement ride has filed with the department of agriculture a certificate of insurance evidencing that there is liability insurance in effect with an insurer authorized or approved to write such insurance in this state on the operation of the ride providing coverage, subject to a limit, exclusive of interest and costs, of not less than five hundred thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of one person in each occurrence, and, subject to such limit for one person, to a limit of not less than one million dollars because of bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in each occurrence.
