Text

The powers of the board of directors of a sanitary district do not include construction and maintenance of lateral sewers, sewerage systems, water mains, and distributing systems or other related improvements for local service within the political subdivisions forming the district, and such improvements shall in every case be provided by the public corporations or persons served by the works of the district. The powers of the board are limited to the construction and maintenance of such works as are necessary to carry out the purposes of the district in improvement of sanitation and water supply as set forth in section6115.04of the Revised Code.
