Text

Within sixty days after the appointment of the full membership of a board of directors of a watershed district, the board shall meet and organize by selecting from among its members a chairman and a vice-chairman, who shall hold their respective offices until the next annual meeting of the board as provided in its bylaws. At each annual meeting thereafter the board shall elect from its membership a chairman and a vice-chairman who shall serve for a term of one year. The board shall appoint and fix the compensation of a secretary-treasurer, who shall not be a member of the board and who shall serve at the pleasure of the board.
