Text
(A)If an active duty member of the Ohio national guard chooses to purchase life insurance pursuant to the "Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Act," 79 Stat. 880 et seq.
(1965), 38 U.S.C. 1965 et seq. and if the adjutant general determines that the member is ineligible for reimbursement of associated premiums under federal law, the adjutant general shall reimburse the member in an amount equal to the monthly premium paid for each month or part of a month by the member pursuant to the act while being an active duty member.
(B)The adjutant general may request additional money from the controlling board if the adjutant general does not have sufficient available unencumbered funds to reimburse active duty members for life insurance premiums pursuant to this section.
