Commissioned officers of the Ohio national guard shall take and subscribe to the following oath of office: "I,___________, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Ohio, against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and of the Governor of the state of Ohio; that I make this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office of ____________ in the National Guard of the United States and of the state of Ohio, upon which I am about to enter, so help me God."
