Text
Before entering into a contract, the board of county commissioners shall require a bond indemnifying the county against the damages that may be suffered by failure to perform such contract according to the provisions thereof and in accordance with the specifications for an improvement as provided by section5559.02of the Revised Code, and also against damages for personal or other injuries resulting from any negligence or violation of law on the part of the contractor and shall ensure that the requirements of section153.54of the Revised Code are met.
