Text
(A)As used in this section, "indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract" means a contract for an unspecified quantity, within stated limits, of supplies or services that will be delivered by the awarded bidder over a defined period.
(B)Notwithstanding section5517.01of the Revised Code, the director of transportation may enter into indefinite delivery indefinite quantity construction contracts for highway maintenance limited to guardrail, highway lighting, and traffic signal maintenance.
(C)The total value of a contract entered into under this section shall not exceed two million dollars per project.
(D)Each district of the department of transportation is limited to two indefinite delivery indefinite quantity construction contracts for highway maintenance at any given time.
