Text

In accordance with federal law governing the children's health insurance program, the medicaid director may submit a request for a federal waiver to the United States secretary of health and human services to pay, except as provided in section5161.22of the Revised Code, for part or all of the cost of health benefits coverage for individuals under nineteen years of age with family incomes above two hundred per cent of the federal poverty line but not exceeding three hundred per cent of the federal poverty line. If the director submits the waiver request, the director shall stipulate in the request that the payments will be available only while federal financial participation is available for them.
