Text

The legislative authority of a city may prohibit the switching of freight engines, trains, or cars, over or on a crossing or bridge referred to by section4955.23of the Revised Code, the sounding of locomotive steam whistles on or near such bridge, and the standing or stopping of a railroad engine over or on such crossing or bridge, and by ordinance, may constitute a violation of such prohibition an offense and provide for the punishment of any person guilty of such violation.
