Text

A person or company owning or operating a railroad that fails to comply with the requirements of or violates section4955.23of the Revised Code, for each day during the continuance of such failure or violation, shall forfeit to such city one hundred dollars, to be recovered in a civil action in the city's name against the owner or operator of such railroad, or both, as the city elects. Like recovery may be had for subsequent failures and violations.
