If the state medical board determines under section4762.03of the Revised Code that an applicant meets the requirements for a license to practice as an oriental medicine practitioner or license to practice as an acupuncturist, the secretary of the board shall register the applicant as an oriental medicine practitioner or acupuncturist, as appropriate, and issue to the applicant the appropriate license to practice. The license shall be valid for a two-year period unless revoked or suspended, shall expire on the date that is two years after the date of issuance, and may be renewed for additional two-year periods in accordance with section4762.06of the Revised Code.
