The occupational therapy section of the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board shall issue a license to every applicant who has passed the appropriate examination designated by the section and who otherwise complies with the licensure requirements of sections4755.04to4755.13of the Revised Code. The license entitles the holder to practice occupational therapy or to assist in the practice of occupational therapy. The licensee shall display the license in a conspicuous place at the licensee's principal place of business. The section shall issue a license to practice occupational therapy or to assist in the practice of occupational therapy in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to an applicant if either of the following applies:

The occupational therapy section of the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board shall issue a license to every applicant who has passed the appropriate examination designated by the section and who otherwise complies with the licensure requirements of sections4755.04to4755.13of the Revised Code. The license entitles the holder to practice occupational therapy or to assist in the practice of occupational therapy. The licensee shall display the license in a conspicuous place at the licensee's principal place of business.

The section shall issue a license to practice occupational therapy or to assist in the practice of occupational therapy in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to an applicant if either of the following applies:

(A) The applicant holds a license in another state.

(B) The applicant has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in that chapter as an occupational therapist or assistant occupational therapist in a state that does not issue that license.
