If the state chiropractic board determines under section4734.282of the Revised Code that an applicant meets the requirements for a certificate to practice acupuncture, the executive director of the board shall issue to the applicant a certificate to practice acupuncture.
A certificate to practice acupuncture expires biennially in accordance with a schedule the board shall establish. The certificate may be renewed in accordance with section4734.284of the Revised Code.
Notwithstanding the requirements for a certificate under this chapter, the executive director shall issue a certificate to practice acupuncture in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to a chiropractor who holds a license or certificate to practice acupuncture in another state or has satisfactory work experience
