The state chiropractic board shall evaluate schools and colleges of chiropractic and approve those institutions that it determines are capable of adequately training individuals for the practice of chiropractic in this state, except that in appropriate cases, the board may accept the approval of an institution that has been made pursuant to an evaluation conducted by the council on chiropractic education or another entity acceptable to the board. When determining if a school or college of chiropractic should receive the board's approval or continue to be approved, the board may make on-site inspections, reviews, and inquiries as it considers necessary.
