Text

(A)There is hereby created an unincorporated nonprofit association to be known as the Ohio life and health insurance guaranty association. All member insurers shall be and remain members of the association as a condition of their license or authority to transact the business of insurance or health insuring corporation business in this state. The association shall perform its functions under the plan of operation established and approved under section3956.10of the Revised Code and shall exercise its powers through a board of directors established under section3956.07of the Revised Code. For purposes of administration and assessment, the association shall maintain the following two accounts:
(1)The life insurance and annuity account that includes the following subaccounts:
