Text

Any corporation, company, or association described in section3919.21of the Revised Code which is transacting business in this state is subject only to sections3919.01to3919.41, inclusive, of the Revised Code, which provide for the organization of mutual protective associations, and may transact in this state the business of life or accident or life and accident insurance on the assessment plan, for the purpose of mutual protection and relief of its members, and for the payment of stipulated sums of money to the families, heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns of the deceased members of such corporation, company, or association as the members may direct, notwithstanding such corporation, company, or association may have been organized on the assessment plan and authorized by the laws
