(A)A licensed retailer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed wholesaler shall furnish a copy of a safety pamphlet to each purchaser of 1.4G fireworks. In addition to any safety information the licensed retailer, licensed wholesaler, or licensed manufacturer wishes to include, the pamphlet shall include all of the following statements, or substantially similar statements: "Do not allow children to play with fireworks. Sparklers, a firework often considered by many to be the ideal "safe" device for children, burn at very high temperatures and should not be handled by children. Children may not understand the danger involved with fireworks and may not act appropriately while using the devices or in case of emergency. (A) A licensed retailer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed wholesaler shall furnish a copy of a safety pamphlet to each purchaser of 1.4G fireworks. Set off fireworks outdoors in a clear area, away from houses, dry leaves, or grass and other flammable materials.

Keep a bucket of water nearby for emergencies and for pouring on fireworks that fail to ignite or explode.

Do not try to relight or handle malfunctioning fireworks. Soak them with water and throw them away.

Be sure other people are out of range before lighting fireworks.

Never light fireworks in a container, especially a glass or metal container.

Keep unused fireworks away from firing areas.

Store fireworks in a cool, dry place.

Check instructions for special storage directions.

Observe state and local law.

Never have any portion of your body directly over a firework while lighting.

Do not experiment with homemade fireworks."

(B) A licensed retailer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed wholesaler selling 1.4G fireworks shall have safety glasses available for a nominal charge or free at the site of the 1.4G fireworks purchase.

(C) Divisions (A) and (B) of this section do not apply when a purchaser is a licensed retailer, licensed manufacturer, licensed wholesaler, or licensed exhibitor of fireworks in this state.
