Text
The exercise by a state public body of the powers granted in sections3735.51to3735.57, inclusive, of the Revised Code, may be authorized by ordinance or resolution of the governing body of such state public body, adopted in accordance with the charter of such public body or in the absence of a charter provision by a majority of the members of its governing body present at a meeting of said governing body, which resolution may be adopted at the meeting at which such resolution is introduced. Such a resolution shall take effect immediately and need not be laid over, published, or posted.
