Text
A metropolitan housing authority may appropriate, enter upon, and hold real estate within its territorial limits. The authority may acquire the fee simple title, or a lesser interest in any property within its territorial limits which it deems necessary to appropriate for the purposes of the authority. The powers shall be exercised by an authority in the same manner as is provided by sections719.01to719.05and163.01to163.22of the Revised Code; and in exercising the power, the governing body, chairman, and counsel of the authority shall perform the duties of the legislative authority of the municipal corporation, mayor, and village solicitor, or city director of law, respectively, and the members of the authority shall exercise all other powers and duties conferred upon officers of municipal
