Text
A hospital shall not represent itself as a comprehensive stroke center, thrombectomy-capable stroke center, primary stroke center, or acute stroke ready hospital unless it is recognized as such by the department of health under section3727.13of the Revised Code.
This section does not prohibit a hospital from representing itself as having a relationship or affiliation with a hospital recognized by the department of health under section3727.13of the Revised Code or a hospital in another state that is certified as a comprehensive stroke center, thrombectomy-capable stroke center, primary stroke center, or acute stroke ready hospital by an accrediting organization approved by the federal centers for medicare and medicaid services.
