(A)Each recipient who accepts a scholarship under the Ohio teaching fellows program created under section3333.391of the Revised Code, or the recipient's parent if the recipient is younger than eighteen years of age, shall sign a promissory note payable to the state in the event the recipient does not satisfy the service requirement of division (D) of section3333.391of the Revised Code or the scholarship is terminated. The amount payable under the note shall be the amount of total scholarships accepted by the recipient under the program plus ten per cent interest accrued annually beginning on the first day of September after graduating from the teacher training program or immediately after termination of the scholarship.
