(A)As used in this section:
(1)"The Ohio college opportunity grant program" means the program established under section3333.122of the Revised Code.
(2)"Rules for the Ohio college opportunity grant program" means the rules authorized in division (R) of section3333.04of the Revised Code for the implementation of the program.
(B)In adopting rules for the Ohio college opportunity grant program, the chancellor of higher education may include provisions that give preferential or priority funding to low-income students who in their primary and secondary school work participate in or complete rigorous academic coursework, attain passing scores on the assessments prescribed in section3301.0710or3301.0712of the Revised Code, or meet other high academic performance standards determined by the
