Text
Each school or college of medicine or medical university supported in whole or in part by the state shall create an office of geriatric medicine within a department to be designated by the dean of the school or college of medicine or medical university, or, in lieu thereof, may establish a separate department of geriatric medicine. The dean of the school or college of medicine or medical university shall designate a member of the medical school, college, or university faculty to establish the office or department, which shall be responsible for incorporating subject matter relating to geriatric medicine into existing courses, arranging courses which relate to geriatric medicine in sequence, and establishing courses in geriatric medicine wherever appropriate, subject to approval
