There is hereby created the state board of career colleges and schools to consist of the chancellor of higher education or a vice chancellor designated by the chancellor, the director of education and workforce or the director's designee, and six members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. Members' terms of office shall be for five years, commencing on the twenty-first day of November and ending on the twentieth day of November. Each member shall hold office from the date of appointment until the end of the term for which the member was appointed.
