Text
In addition to other jurisdiction granted a county court in the Revised Code, a county court has jurisdiction over violations of township resolutions adopted pursuant to section503.52or503.53or Chapter 504. of the Revised Code. For procedural purposes, a case in which a person is charged with the violation of a township resolution shall be treated as a civil case, except as otherwise provided in the Revised Code and except that a violation of a township resolution that is adopted pursuant to section503.52or503.53of the Revised Code and that creates a criminal offense or imposes criminal penalties shall be treated as a criminal case.
