Text
Each institution or school with a certificate of authorization issued under this chapter annually shall certify to the chancellor of higher education, on a date and in the form and manner determined by the chancellor, a plan to preserve student records indefinitely if the institution or school was to cease operations. The plan shall include the designation and signed confirmation of an official custodian of student records. If the chancellor determines it necessary, the chancellor may require an institution or school to produce an executed agreement with the designated custodian of student records, paid in full, to ensure the institution's or school's plan can be implemented.
