Text

The chancellor of higher education shall establish standards for certificates of authorization to be issued to institutions as defined in section1713.01of the Revised Code, to private institutions exempt from regulation under Chapter 3332. of the Revised Code as prescribed in section3333.046of the Revised Code, and to schools holding certificates of registration issued by the state board of career colleges and schools pursuant to division (C) of section3332.05of the Revised Code. A certificate of authorization may permit an institution or school to award one or more types of degrees. The standards for a certificate of authorization may include, for various types of institutions, schools, or degrees, minimum qualifications for faculty, library, laboratories, and other facilities as adopted
