§ 7-703-a Planned unit development zoning districts. A village\nlegislative body is hereby authorized to enact, as part of its zoning\nlocal law, procedures and requirements for the establishment and mapping\nof planned unit development zoning districts. Planned unit development\ndistrict regulations are intended to provide for residential,\ncommercial, industrial or other land uses, or a mix thereof, in which\neconomies of scale, creative architectural or planning concepts and open\nspace preservation may be achieved by a developer in furtherance of the\nvillage comprehensive plan and zoning local law.\n
