§ 1111-A — Owner liability for failure of operator to comply with traffic-control indications

* § 1111-a. Owner liability for failure of operator to comply with\ntraffic-control indications.

(a)1. Notwithstanding any other provision\nof law, each city with a population of one million or more is hereby\nauthorized and empowered to adopt and amend a local law or ordinance\nestablishing a demonstration program imposing monetary liability on the\nowner of a vehicle for failure of an operator thereof to comply with\ntraffic-control indications in such city in accordance with the\nprovisions of this section. Such demonstration program shall empower a\ncity to install and operate traffic-control signal photo\nviolation-monitoring devices at no more than six hundred intersections\nwithin such city at any one time.\n 2.
