§ 2103-a. Use of electronic filing authorized.\n (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the chief\nadministrator of the courts may authorize a program in the use of\nelectronic means in civil cases in a district court as provided in\narticle twenty-one-A of the civil practice law and rules, and in\ncriminal cases as provided in section 10.40 of the criminal procedure\nlaw.\n (b) For purposes of this section, "electronic means" shall have the\nsame meaning as defined by subdivision (f) of rule twenty-one hundred\nthree of the civil practice law and rules.\n
